Rock Climbing/Bouldering In the Caribbean, Things Unsafe to touch/climb on? - bouldering shoes
Hey folks, in a few months I will be on a cruise ship from Kings Wharf, Bermuda, Nassau, Bahamas, Coco Cay in the Bahamas with my girlfriend and her family. My girlfriend and I are in the climbing wall and bouldering big ... At home, we bouldering pads, etc., etc.
Know our boots on the cruise and hope that many of the rocks on the shore and have fun. My question is: Are there things that are toxic to our a. dangerous and should not be touched or climbed We believe Reef will be fun, but I heard from someone, somewhere, can not remember who or where, corals, or a few species can be toxic. As a second question, I wear La Sportiva Miura, and Galileo used 5-10, and my problem is that when I get happy to plug my toe heel of the shoe for my size, I'm usually a 11 1 / 2 "to 11", but I use th 10 'byis the number of heel hooks are tight, very close to the point where my toenails are: (.
