What can I mix with lead to make it more plyable when making split shot sinkers? - how to make lead split shot sinkers

nothing. result of pure virgin. no weight of the wheel. Tin on them. Tin difficult. not primarily Linotype. too hard.

James ... see the loss of ... er ... Hair and ... uhh ... other things in your avatar, you need to take LOTS ...

Pure lead is very soft and could easily be zero pure lead with nails. Most lead alloys with lead, tin and / or antimony. To the soft lead alloy that is not good at all. Instead, you remove other metals such as tin and / or antimony. No matter what percentage of tin and / or antimony in the alloy, you can always melt and foam alloy of tin and antimony, the proportion of pure lead, more lead content increase to the alloy. If you do not like the removal of molten metal, you can always start with a clear lead in the first place.

PS: You do not want the flow of molten tin-lead alloy, if you fly over and / or antimony want.
PPS: float easily on the metal surface of the thick metal, while in liquid form. Interested? :)
